Angelina Shapoval earned her musical degree in Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she studied Piano under Mack McCray and Harpsichord under Laurette Goldberg. She appeared in many performances both as a soloist and chamber music artist. She was a member and co-founder of the Violin-Piano Duo Consortium as well as one of the principal harpsichordists for the San Francisco Conservatory Baroque Orchestra. Her other formal studies have included courses in Music History and Medieval Theory at Princeton University and workshops in choral conducting and performance at Westminster Choir College.

Shapoval's teaching experience has included: The Calder Academy of Music, Cupertino, CA (Piano Faculty); Westminster Conservatory of Music, Princeton, NJ (Piano Faculty, Music History/Theory Department, Chamber Music Ensemble), where she has been on the faculty since 2001. Shapoval has served as director of music for church children’s programs in the Bay area and in the more recent years - in central and south New Jersey. She has also been involved in teaching musicianship, ear-training and choral ensemble to the vibrant home-schooled communities of the Princeton area. Shapoval is an active piano pedagogue and a chamber music coach. She has been a long-standing member of the MTNA and NJMTA. Angelina's students regularly appear in various competitive and non-competitive events. Some of the venues her student winners have performed have included Merkin Hall, CAMI Hall, and The Weil Recital Hall at the Carnegie Hall, NY. She is co-founder of the Music Place.
